Real-life Action Heroes

Tom Cruise didn’t invent the dazzling smile in defiance of hopeless circumstances. God did. Arnold Schwarzenegger was not the first to exude confidence in a life-and-death conflict. That was God. Russell Crowe’s indomitable spirit in the face of extreme danger? Mel Gibson’s fearlessness in battle? Yep. God’s too! Our God invented the super conquering life. He raised up the original bigger-than-life action heroes.

Angel's Wish

This is the last song Steven Curtis Chapman wrote in the album "All Things New". I love this song, it tells how great GRACE is, it's something we can't even fathom, for even angels long to look unto it. Grace is so wonderuful! God is so wonderful!

An Adventure

We’re all catching our breath, and it’s been a long time since most of us had jogged on a long and stiff road. But at long last we reach our destination, we stride and jog for an hour and finally we're here, still surrounded with mountains, we can see the town below with houses like small dots of different colors. We climbed a stair made for the traveler so that we can see more clearly below. I’m glad that it was preserved, maybe for the reason that there were few people who reach this place.

Allegory from Titanic

Have you watch the movie “Titanic”, the love story between Jack and Rose? It was the biggest box-office hit in the history of the world, all around the world. Rose was a prisoner to a man she doesn’t love in a social circle bound by hypocrisy and betrayal, Rose describes the Titanic as her “Slave Ship.” She is a prisoner; in despair she will try to end her life. When Jack comes to rescue her, it is the first time anyone has ever wanted her for her heart. He sets her free from the small story she was living and invites her up into beauty, intimacy and adventure.
